Common questions

How large can a P168SD sliding panel be?

Individual vents can reach up to 18 m² in area and 1,000 kg in weight, making the P168SD suitable for dramatic panoramic openings. The ultra-slim 22 mm interlock creates the frameless look of fixed glazing while remaining fully operable.

What is the difference between a sliding door and a lift-and-slide door?

A standard sliding door rolls along a track with the sash weight always on the rollers. A lift-and-slide door uses a mechanism that lifts the sash off its seal for effortless operation, then lowers it back for compression against the elements — enabling much larger and heavier panels with a single-finger push.

Is the P138SW suitable for tropical climates?

Yes. Multi-layer sealing and concealed drainage make the P138SW highly resistant to driving rain and humidity. The thermal break frame prevents exterior heat from conducting to the interior surface — critical for climates where temperatures regularly exceed 30°C.
